The Big Red One Chapter is based out of Fort Riley, KS. The Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, is currently deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and supports Multi-National Division - North throughout Northern Iraq.

The Chapter has the great honor of working with James Dietz, an award-winning military and aviation artist. Mr. Dietz visited our unit here in Iraq and shot all of the photos on-site that were used to develop this print.

The theme behind this print is to highlight all of the courageous Soldiers this Aviation Brigade supports on a daily basis. The Soldiers highlighted in this print are from B/4-9 Infantry assigned to 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division

FINAL PRINT

This scene captures the Combat Aviation Brigade conducting a Stryke Mission in support of B/4-9 Infantry, "Blowtorch," in the Diyala River Valley (east of Baqubah). The Apache Longbow Team (background) supports the infantry squad once on the ground.

Print Details:

● Limited Edition, signed, and numbered print (average size is 21" x 31" including 3" border)

● This is a limited edition print; once sales are complete, no additional prints will be made

● Expect the print to be release in January 2009 at Fort Riley, Kansas and Fort Lewis, Washington

● Specifically requested signed print number: $95

● Limited edition, random numbered, and signed print: $80

Print numbers will be random once pre-sales are complete. The Big Red One Chapter is reserving certain numbered prints.

Price includes shipping and handling fees (all prints, even those not mailed will be billed for handling, as as this is a fee charged to the Chapter).

NOTE: As AAAA HQ is handling the credit card sales for the Big Red One Chapter, Connecticut sales tax must be collected for Connecticut residents (6% additional).
