Vietnam/Korean Veteran & Family Appreciation Reception

If you are a Vietnam or Korean War veteran, you and your family are invited to a special reception in your honor with AAAA National President, MG (Ret.) Jeff Schloesser, and other members of the National Executive Group just before the dinner/concert on the final day of the Summit.

Come and join other veterans of these two conflicts and experience the unique comradery once again as AAAA celebrates you and your family’s service. Location will be announced in the coming weeks. Thank you for your service and hope to see you there!

The Library of Congress – Make Sure Your Story is Heard

You answered the call to serve your country in Korea and Vietnam, and The Library of Congress wants to make sure your story is heard so future generations can recognize your sacrifice. The LOC’s Veterans History Project (VHP) records and preserves the stories of US veterans and makes them available to researchers and members of the public.

VHP staff will be onsite at the AAAA Summit recording oral histories of veterans, as well as holding workshops to teach people how they can become a volunteer correspondent for VHP and assist the Library of Congress with preserving these important memories. It only takes about 45 minutes of your time, but leaves a legacy that lasts forever.
