Marathon Village & Greenbrier Distillery
Wednesday, April 21
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Depart Shuttle Delta Portico
Marathon Village is made up of a group of 100-year old warehouse buildings which was originally where the Marathon Motor Works, a car made in the early 1900s, was built. Today, it’s a creative community of unique retail, business, and entertainment facilities including a bourbon distillery, gourmet confectionery, and Antique Archaeology, home base for the American Pickers show on the History Channel. Spend awhile at American Archaeology where Mike Wolfe's preserves Americana.
Located within walking distance of the Marathon Village is Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery, is a producer of Tennessee whiskey and other spirits that launched back in 2011 and began operating a distillery in 2014 in Nashville, TN. The tours will take your group back through the past, present, and future of this historical distillery. It starts with a journey through the history of Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery, followed by a walk-through of the production floor, sharing the processes that go into making their products.
