• Deadline for submission of Nomination Packet is January 1st of the subsequent year
• All information in the Summary and Support Documents must have occurred between January 1 and December 31 of the year that the nomination is being submitted.

CRITERIA

This award is named in memory of Brig. Gen. Robert M. Leich, USAR, AAAA's first president (1957-59) and its Awards Committee Chairman for 23 years. It is presented annually to a unit for sustained contributions to Army Aviation, to a unit or an individual for a unique, one-time outstanding performance.
