Security Requirements for Access to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi for CCAD Tour

Participants in the Luther Jones Forum Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Orientation Tour are responsible for their own transportation to and from the installation.  Please click here for complete directions to Parking at CCAD - the address is : Corpus Christi Army Depot, 308 Crecy Street.

All Depot Orientation Tour participants should be present at the designated rally point (page 9 on map) aboard Naval Air Station-Corpus Christi (NAS-CC) -- no later than TBD.

From this location, CCAD tour guides will welcome participants and provide shuttle transportation from the on-base rally point to CCAD Building 8. and back to the Rally Point for Departure.    

Please ensure to allot enough time to pass through base security, as shuttles will depart from the on base Rally point location at exactly 1250 hrs on 2 October 2017.  

Because of security requirements, participation in the CCAD Orientation Tour is limited to U.S. citizens only. CCAD is a tenant organization onboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and falls under Department of the Navy base security requirements. Luther G. Jones Forum attendees who wish to participate in the CCAD tour on Monday, 2 October, 2017 / 1300-1530hrs are required to gain base access.

United States federal government-issued identification cards (i.e. DoD civilian and contractor common access cards, active military, military dependents, retirees, and retiree dependents) are allowed to access the installation without formal sponsorship.

Federal government employees with valid issued identification and ID card holders previously mentioned (with the exception of government contractors) are allowed to sponsor others' entry to the installation as long as the visitor(s) are able to furnish a valid form of photo identification (driver's license, U.S. passport, etc.).    

Attendees without appropriate government-issued identification cards, and who are not being escorted by a government issued ID card holder, must request clearance to access the installation by filling out the AAAA Event NASCC Guest Sponsorship Form (attached) in its entirety and submitting it to the Protocol NCOIC using the following email address:

Please include "AAAA Luther G. Jones Forum CCAD Tour Access Request" in the subject line so that your request may be expeditiously routed through CCAD and NAS-CC security channels.

Registration for base access must be completed no later than 5 working days prior to the Depot Tour to allow for NAS-CC vetting procedures and planning for on-post shuttle transportation to and from the on Base Rally Point.

** Safety Requirements**

CCAD is a military industrial manufacturing facility, and the following safety and security procedures must be observed.

Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE - Eye and Ear protection) is required, CCAD will issue all visitors eye and ear protection. Closed toe, low heel shoes must also be worn, and Photography and recording equipment of any kind is not allowed onboard the entire installation.

The Depot Tour will last approximately 2hrs
