Henry Q. Dunn Crew Chief of the Year Award

  • Deadline for submission of Nomination Packet is January 1st of the subsequent year
  • All information in the Summary and Support Documents must have occurred between January 1 and December 31 of the year that the nomination is being submitted.

CRITERIA

Sponsored by Robertson Aviation, this award was established in 2005. This award is named for SGM Henry Q. Dunn, who was the first Crew Chief of the Army's Executive Flight Detachment for President Eisenhower in 1957 and one of the first E-9s in the Army. It is presented annually by AAAA "to the Crew Chief who has made an outstanding individual contribution to Army aviation in the awards period encompassing the previous CY." A candidate for this award must be in the active U.S. Army or reserve components, and must have made an outstanding individual achievement.
