  2. Selection of the winner of the Distinguished Graduate Award is to be made by the academic institution or agency at which the aviation-related course is conducted.
  3. The sponsorship of the actual Distinguished Graduate Award is the responsibility of the Association, or such agencies or firms approved by the National Executive Board.
  4. Presentation of the AAAA Distinguished Graduate Award to be made by the academic institution or agency in which the course is conducted. There are four different awards. In addition, the AAAA sponsors the presentation of Sterling Silver Army Aviator Wings to each Distinguished Graduate of the Initial Rotary Wing Aviator Course during the graduation ceremony.
