CCAD Orientation Tour

LENGTH OF TOUR: The Depot Tour will last approximately 2 hours.

TRANSPORTATION: Participants in the Luther G. Jones Forum Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) Orientation Tour are responsible for their own transportation to and from the installation. 

RALLY POINT:  All registered Depot Orientation Tour participants must be present at the designated rally point aboard Naval Air Station Corpus Christi (NASCC) -- no later than 12:45 p.m. on 19 August 2019.  Location of rally point will be provided once participant has been approved for base access. 

SHUTTLE FROM RALLY POINT:  CCAD tour guides will welcome registered participants and provide shuttle transportation from the on-base rally point to CCAD Building 8 Headquarters and back to the Rally Point at 3:00 p.m. for departure.    

Please ensure to allot enough time to pass through base security, as shuttles will depart from the on base Rally Point location at exactly 12:55 p.m. on 19 August 2019.  

SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  Participation in the CCAD Orientation Tour is limited to U.S. citizens only.

CCAD is a tenant organization on-board NASCC and falls under Department of the Navy base security requirements. Luther G. Jones Forum attendees who wish to participate in the CCAD tour on 19 August 2019 / 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. are required to gain base access.

U.S. GOVERNMENT IDs: United States federal government-issued identification cards (i.e. DoD civilian and contractor common access cards, active military, military dependents, retirees, and retiree dependents) are allowed to access the installation without formal government sponsorship.

GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEE SPONSORSHIPS: Federal government employees with valid issued identification and ID card holders previously mentioned (with the exception of government contractors) are allowed to sponsor others' entry to the installation as long as the visitor has a government-issued identification and is accompanied by the government employee. 

Attendees without appropriate government-issued identification cards, and who are not being escorted by a government issued ID card holder, must request clearance to access the installation by filling out the NAS Corpus Christi Guest Sponsorship Request Form in its entirety and submitting it to: David W. REQUEST FORM DETAILS: Include "AAAA Luther G. Jones Forum CCAD Tour Access Request" in the subject line so that your request may be expeditiously routed through CCAD and NASCC security channels.

Registration for base access must be submitted to the CCAD Protocol Specialist no later than 9 August 2019 to allow for NASCC vetting procedures and planning for on-post shuttle transportation to and from the on Base Rally Point.

In compliance with NASCC access procedures, if you intend to participate in the tour of the Corpus Christi Army Depot, in addition to the information needed for the NAS Corpus Christi Guest Sponsorship Request Form , you must also provide the personal identifiable information (PII) listed below to:

SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: CCAD is a military industrial manufacturing facility, the following safety and security procedures must be observed.

Wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE - eye and ear protection) is required, CCAD will issue all visitors eye and ear protection.

Closed toe, low heeled shoes must be worn.

Use of photography and recording equipment of any kind is not allowed on board the entire installation.
